I met Kate in first grade 31 years ago. We grew up together but remained friends after high school since we shared a best friend. I have so many fun memories of Kate. She had a magnetic personality. I am so saddened for her beautiful children and the husband and family she left behind too soon. Kate I’m so thankful to have known you and you will always be remembered so fondly.

Linda & Gary I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you are going thru. Put it in the Lord's hands to give you strength and help to get you through this tragedy. It had been a long time since I saw Kate. She looked the same as I remember her. I know it's a difficult time for all of you and I will be praying for you as I'm am sure others will to. Each day will give you a little healing time. Stay strong. Payers and thoughts with you. Royd

We remember Kate as a little girl and then as our daughter's babysitter. Gary and Linda were always good friends of ours, and we are so sorry for their loss.

Kate...I can’t believe I’m writing this...it doesn’t seem real. I don’t know where to begin...
We talked every day, every night, for years. Not a day went by that we didn’t talk, and I loved those. We bonded through a rough time, but gained an irreplaceable friendship that I treasured. It was a gift that I never saw coming. You were an amazing step mother to Isaac...he adored you and I adored you for being that for him. “Momma Kate”...you’ll always be. I miss you so much it hurts. I want to talk again, I want to hear your voice and see “Kate” come up on my phone. I have thought about you non-stop, and I’m not sure that will ever go away. I will forever be blessed to have known you, to have laughed with you, cried with you, bonded with you and had you be a part of Isaac’s life. You are a gift. I will miss you more than you’ll ever know. You will always be with me❤️

Kate has been a big inspiration in my life. I was lucky enough to call her my friend. The Zehr’s have always been like a family growing up, and keeping in touch over the years even though I have lived 1500 miles away. I will miss Kate with all of my heart and soul.

Kate was a wonderful associate. Her skills in the Peripheral Vascular Lab @ St. Vincent's were phenomenal. She assisted our surgeons during many complicated procedures including our first TVAR. PV Lab & Surgery staff have become one family. As her director I could not ask for a better associate. We all mourn the loss if Kate & her quick wit.

Kate, you will always be my beloved niece. What a wonderful, exceptional life you have had! I am so sad that you have had to leave so soon. I love you so much. Words, which have always been my friends, cannot describe what a cherished person you are and how much all of us, especially your parents, Nick, your beloved children, and the rest of your family and friends, will miss you. I hope you and your Grandpa Miller are in heaven picking out that special horse for you to ride. I’ll see all of you one day. Aunt Nell

Kate was one of my X-Ray students. She was bright, funny and a joy to be around. I can still hear her laughter and am so saddened by her passing. She so loved her family but one day you will be together again💕

Kate was my sister. Yes she was my sister-in-law but she was more to that to me. She taught me so much over the short 14 years I've been a part of the family. She was such an inspiration. Her children loved her and she loved them with every fiber of her being. Her love for her husband was obvious everytime she saw his face. Their love for one another was something that you strive for in a marriage. I will miss her guidance, leadership and most of all her friendship. I love you Kate and I will see you again. ♥️
