

She was an Art History major at the University of Evansville.
Kay was Treasurer of the Newburgh Women’s Club and ran the Antique Show for several years. She volunteered at the Reitz Home, helping with Christmas decorating, and also at the Evansville Philharmonic. She enjoyed floral design and anything creative. She was a mural artist and loved interior design.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Bill Jaggers; daughter, Sally Jaggers-Weber and husband, Kent; son, Ryan Jaggers and wife, Monet; grandchildren, Jagger, Anna, Ellie, Cade, Camden, and Alessi; sister, Lois Mewes and husband, Jim.
Her husband, Bill, who she often called “her rock,” compassionately cared for her each day during her four year endurance with ALS.
A visitation celebrating Kay’s life will be held Monday, March 7, 2011, from 3 to 8 PM, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel.
