LeRoy Williams

He graduated from Bosse high school. He served 11 years in the Army National Guard achieving the rank of lieutenant and had worked at George Koch and Crescent Plastics but spent most of his life in the transportation industry. He loved studying Indian artifacts and was a past member of the Indiana Archeological Society. LeRoy was a great organic gardener and shared his produce with others.

He was a dedicated and loving dad, grandpa and great-grandpa and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Carol (Griesbacher) Williams, all of his siblings, Chester, Beulah, Lester and Mary Bush (Frank): and brother in law Carl Griesbacher (Carol).

He is survived by his children Mike Williams (Cyndi) , Angie Azman (Aziz), Kelly Beal (Marty) and Jody Tyler (Stan): grandchildren, Kristen Skeen (Nick), Josh Williams, Ana Azman and Craig Tyler: great-grandchildren, Amelia and Scarlett Skeen: brother in law, William Griesbacher (Paula), many nieces and nephews and his sweetheart, Elizabeth Koester.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel with burial to follow at St John Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to come together and share stories on Tuesday December 6, 2022 from 4-7 p.m and Wednesday at 10 a. m. until service time at the funeral home.
