

He attended Tecumseh High School and Oakland City College.
Lloyd was a Certified Technician by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. His hard work and dedication were instrumental in Menke’s Automotive achieving the Top Shop Award in America.
He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church and Moose Lodge.
Lloyd enjoyed helping others, mowing the grass, and working on automobiles, tractors, or anything with wheels. He liked working around the house, sitting around the campfire with friends, golfing, fishing, and playing with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon E. Menke; grandparents, August and Minnie Kuhlenschmidt, Walter and Loreena Menke.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Kathie Menke; daughters, Michelle (Hanson) Bernard of Mt. Washington, KY, Hillary (Joshua) Arnett of Ft. Branch, IN, Amanda Brown of Newburgh, IN; mother, Margaret Menke of Elberfeld, IN; brothers, Vernon (Barb) Menke, Jr. of Newburgh, IN, Richard Menke of Chesapeake, VA, Michael (Marla) Menke of Haubstadt, IN, Dennis (Donna) Menke of Elberfeld, IN; sisters, Carol (Tom) Singer of Haubstadt, IN, Beth (Dirk) Euler of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Averie Lynn Bernard of Mt. Washington, KY, Addison Arnett of Ft. Branch, IN, Dakota and Skyler Ward of Greenville, KY, Cash Norton of Los Angeles, CA; many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 PM, Monday, September 27, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. Pete Shuck with burial at Zion Cemetery in Elberfeld, IN. Friends may visit Sunday from 2 – 6 PM at the funeral home.
