Lowell Patterson

Lowell Lee Patterson 64 of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away surrounded by his family at Heart to Heart Hospice in Evansville, IN on October 12, 2024. He was born in Springfield, IL on December 14, 1959.

Lowell concluded his 34-year tenure with the US Postal Service in 2016. His personal interests included being an avid Colts fan and taking leisurely beach vacations. He found enjoyment in various hobbies, including corn hole, fishing, golfing, working on racecars, and attending racing events. Anyone fortunate enough to meet him was instantly drawn in by his captivating smile.

Lowell is survived by his wife of 44 years, Vicki Patterson; his children, Misty Thomas (Jeff ), Stacy Ray (Bryan), and Amber Patterson (Trina); siblings, Laura, Sherri, William, and Jerry (Carol) Patterson; grandchildren, Madison Hertel (Jared), McKenzi Welch (Nathan), and Alex Patterson; great grandchildren, Lawson, Sophia, and Renee; Nicole Goebel (Cody) who he had the privilege of raising, and nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley and father, Eugene Patterson.

Visitation will start 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to share memories until 3:00 p.m. A meal will follow at the funeral home.
