She was a member of Alexander AME Church on Walnut Street in Evansville. She retired from Vanderburgh School Corporation as a Fourth Grade Teacher. Marian enjoyed watercolor painting and loved the Home Shopping Network.
She was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Beulah Edwards; and sister, Gertrude Lee.
Marian is survived by her husband of 61 years, Frazier; sister, Dolores White; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Hospice Chaplain, Genevieve McGuire with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
