Mary B. Jenkins

She was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church in Boonville, IN. She retired from Alcoa after 35 years of service.

Mary was preceded in death by daughter, Paulette Jenkins, in 2010; parents, Antoine and Claudia Batiste; brothers, Raymond (Beatrice) Batiste, Sidney Baptiste, Claude Baptiste, and Cleveland Batiste; and sister, Octavia B. Harry.

She is survived by her children, Debbie (Tonie) Perkins of Linden, NC, Tony Jenkins of Chandler, IN, and Monique Jenkins of Chandler, IN; brothers, Davis (Eva), August (Lois), Sylvester (Veronica), and Wallace (Carmen) Batiste; sister, Mary Bovia; sisters-in-law, Anita Batiste and Patricia Batiste; brother-in-law, Milton Harry, Sr.; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; best friends, Agnes and Carolyn; Godchildren, Gail B. Brazile and RaShawn L. Brooks; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services were 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at St. Clements Catholic Church in Boonville, IN, officiated by Father Lowell Will, with burial at our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Vacherie, LA. Friends visited 9 AM until service time at the church.
