

Nancy was a member of Newburgh United Methodist Church where she was part of the Women’s Club and Ruth Circle.
She was a teacher in Gibson, Pike and Warrick Special Education Co-op for over 30 years, teaching at John H. Castle, Sharon Elementary, Chandler Elementary, and Southern Indiana Resource Services. She was also one of the founding teachers of the Gibson, Pike and Warrick Special Education Teacher’s Association, serving for four years as President. Nancy coached multiple sports for Warrick County Special Olympics for 30 years.
She enjoyed watching the Colts from her “queen chair.”
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Louis “Ponto” and Edna Lloyd Cotton; and sister, Joan Elaine Russell.
She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Fox; son, Benjamin Michael Fox of Jackson, TN; son, Christopher Patrick Fox of Huntsville, AL; and niece, Lori Ann Russell-Head (Christopher) of Mooresville, IN.
The family would like to extend a thank you to the doctors and nurses at Oncology Hematology Associates and the staff at VNA Charlier Center.
Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Newburgh United Methodist Church, 4178 SR 261, officiated by Rev. Mark Dicken with burial at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander Newburgh Chapel and Thursday from 8:00 AM until service time at the church.
