Ricky Lee Shaffer

Rick L. Shaffer, 57, of Chandler, IN passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. He was born in Evansville on February 7, 1962 to the late Thomas and Sheila (Zoll) Shaffer. He loved music, wrestling, movies, and collecting football cards. His favorite team was the Miami Dolphins. Rick was an avid Alice Cooper and Kiss fan. His seeing eye dog, Banjo, was his best friend. Rick is survived by his brothers, Michael Shaffer (Patty) of Boonville, Jimmy Russelburg (Cyndi) of Newburgh; an aunt, Cynthia Bayer, who was his aunt and caregiver; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and close friend, Ron Howard. There will be no services at the funeral home.
