Dr. Robert Bob E. Gregg Jr.

Bob was still practicing optometry one day a week, playing golf, and gardening until his health began to fail.

He was an Optometrist on the West side of Evansville for over 50 years. He was a faithful member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Also, the West Side Nut Club and Optimist Club, Kennel Club, Rolling Hills Country Club, American Optometric Association, and past president of Indiana Optometric Association. He had also been very active in Boy Scouts.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Bob, Sr. & Mary Gregg, and a grandson, Jason R. Gregg.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Annie L. (Harris) Gregg; sons, James R. Gregg (Janet) and Andrew H. Gregg (Cheryl); daughter Cathi Pease (Jeff); grandchildren, Joshua Gregg (Heather), Tanner Pease, Michael and Samantha Wolf; great granddaughter, Lilah Gregg; brother John Gregg (Barbara); sisters, Mary MacGregor (Philip Leiberman) and Betsy Gregg; and brother-in-law, Donald Stanton (Ellen).

Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 5501 Washington Avenue, officiated by Rev. Dennis Davenport, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander Newburgh Chapel and Thursday, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.
