Roxanne Carrell Hall

Roxanne Carrell Hall, 63, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away surrounded by family on April 21, 2021 after a long illness. Roxanne was born on May 18, 1957 to the late Jerry and Doris (Schmidt) Carrell in Evansville, IN. She graduated from Castle High School in 1975 and was honored to serve on the Homecoming Court in her senior year. She attended Crossroads Christian Church, sang in the choir and served on the production team. She married Larry "Blane" Hall and they shared many wonderful years together until his passing in 2003. Roxanne was Founder/President/Owner of Meetings Plus Inc. for almost thirty years and hosted events all over the world. Roxanne enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and was a well-known face at The Barn in Rosine, KY. She also loved to cook, drink a good merlot, chilling on the deck and spending as much time as possible with family. She also spent many good times vacationing at Sea Pines Hilton Head with all the family. Roxanne was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Larry "Blane" Hall. Survivors include three brothers, Jeff (Terri) Carrell, Steve (Lisa) Carrell, Joel (Ruth) Carrell; two sisters, Mary (Mike) Virgin, and Stacey Hutson (Skip Fletcher); special friend/caregiver, Jeff Wheeler; best friends and cousins, Carol and Bill Montgomery and Godchild, April Carrell South Alderson; as well as many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. A special thank you to Marti Scheu and Beverly Klima for the extraordinary care they gave to Roxanne. Memorial contributions can be made in her honor to Crossroads Christian Church. Family and friends may visit at Alexander Newburgh Chapel on Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again at Crossroads Christian Church on Monday, April 26, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will be held following the visitation on Monday at Noon officiated by Pastor Andy Teare.
