He graduated from Castle High School in 2008. Sam was currently employed in the construction industry. In his younger years he was a life guard at the Newburgh pool and at the YMCA teaching children to swim. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying basketball and football. He had a great sense of humor and always had a smile on his face. He was fond of animals and enjoyed playing guitar. Sam loved his family very much.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jonny Fehn; grandmother, Jean Hulse; and grandparents, Jerry and Betty Locasto.
Sam is survived by his mother, Cindy Perdue (Shayne); father, Jerry Locasto (Leanne); grandparents, Jerry Hulse (Connie), Frank Mitchell (Billie); girlfriend, Amanda Oldham; and sister, Lindsay Locasto (Bill Latta).
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel. Friends may visit 12:00 PM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Vanderburgh or Warrick Humane Society.
