When she was 14 years old, she met Kenneth Burris, the love of her life. After graduation, they were married and were together for 53 years. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1957. Sharleen attended Christian Fellowship Church. She was a beautician and a homemaker. She actively attended several Bible studies. She was a powerful prayer warrior and prayed daily for her family.
Sharleen is survived by husband, Kenneth; son, Mark Burris (Dana), of Evansville; daughter, Kelly McCamish (David); grandchildren, Brad Burris (Ashley), Adam Burris (Kelly), Brittany Lear (Luke), Tyler McCamish (Melyssa), Mallorie McCamish, Kaleb McCamish, Luke McCamish; seven great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Rickard, of Edwardsville, IL; and brother, Jerry Hayhurst, of Eureka, MO.
A private service will be held. There will be no visitation at Alexander Newburgh Chapel.
