I just learned of this and my heart is broken! I grew up with Sharon and her children. Her and my mother were best friends for many years. (Alice Hartsook). She asked me to look for her to reconnect after my dad passed and we found this. May she rest in peace.

I will always cherish the day you, your mom, a friend of yours and I went shopping. You and I saw a pink suede jacket at the same time we both bought one. I love that jacket and think of you and yours each time I wear it, which is quite often. I truly believe we would have become very good friends. The time that God gave us together was an honor.

Sharon. It will be six months in another day I miss you every day there is always something to remind me of you I talk to you every night before I go to sleep.There are things that have happen that I want to share with you so I tell you about them at night when I talk to you.Love  and miss you  MOM

Hoyt, Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Becky and I were truly taken back by the news of Sharon's passing. We are so sorry for your loss.

Although we had not seen each other in many years, I always remembered your smile! My sister and I lived a couple of houses away from you as kids. I still remember when you and Hoyt started dating. I know I speak for my sister when I say that you will be very much missed. You were always just the nicest person, and it has been a pleasure knowing you. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to your whole family. Goodbye my friend, until we meet again!

Sharon was my mother in law. She is 
 and always will be one of the kindest, funnest most caring women i have ever known. She was this families pillar holding us all up, our glue holding us together, our rock keeping us from drifting. She was always so thoughtful and the ever gracious hostess. She was funny too always willing to go that extra mile for a laugh. She was beautiful inside and out. She was a wonderful grandmother and it saddens me that the younger ones will remember her only through stories. Everytime i see monkeys, charlie brown or anything mellancamp i will immediately think of her. So glad to be able to call her my mother in law and most of all friend. Miss you and love you forever.

Where do I begin... you are a dear sister to me. I will never forget all the long talks late into the night, and the fun we had painting together.I will always cherish the times we had on motorcycle trips and concerts we shared with Hoyt and Jim. You have always been dear to my heart. Words cannot say how much you are missed, and the heartache that is felt. We are blessed that you crossed our paths in life. I love you.

I can't find the words to express my sorrow.  You were my best friend and confidant.  I am thankful for all the memories I have, no one will ever take your place.  I am blessed to have had you in my life, and honored that I was a part of yours.

Sharon will be missed by the many that knew and loved her.  She became an acquaintance because of a mutual love for Mellencamp but quickly became someone I called a friend.  I will miss our laughs and general silliness that we shared.  Rest in Peace Sharon.  My prayers are continuing for Hoyt and your family.  This is a huge loss for all.

Sharon  My beautiful daughter my life will never be the same without you. You always told me that there was always different ways to deal with things in life. So to help me heal my broken heart I will fill it with all the good memories we shared love you so much.
