

She was a very loving person. She had a big heart and found good in everyone. Sharon was an artist and painter. She was very creative. She was fun to be with and enjoyed making people laugh. Her favorite pastime was riding motorcycles with her husband and traveling to John Mellencamp concerts. She was the backbone of the family and took care of them all.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Meser.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, George Hoyt Heacock; mother, Nancy Penrod; daughter, Lindy Lair (David); son, Jared Heacock; grandchildren, Shelby, Ashlynn, Victoria, Noah and Jackson; sister, Donna Crouch; nephews, Joey and Shawn Crouch; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Cooper (Kenny), Sharilyn Scheller (Jim); brother-in-law, Jeremy Heacock (Barb); aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel officiated by Pastor Patrick Garcia. Friends may visit 11:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
