

Billy worked for most of his career in road construction in Texas and Wyoming. He was a talented musician, playing guitar, banjo, mandolin and ukulele. Music was his life. He enjoyed riding on his Harley, adored his German shepherd, Baylee and was an incredible storyteller. Billy was a Christian and lifelong member of the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Frederick “Bill” Morgan, and brothers-in-law, Alan Lyon and Mike Coke.
Billy is survived by his wife, Marji Morgan; children, Gennafur Morgan Hillman (Jeff) of Round Rock, TX, James Dean Morgan of Austin, TX and William Frederick “Billy” Morgan (Mika) of Wichita Falls, TX; 3 grandchildren; step-daughter, Jaime Rathgeber (Christopher) and their 3 children and one on the way; mother Sally Bateman Morgan of Grand Prairie, TX; sisters, Clydie Morgan of Arlington, TX, Debbie Lyon of Rowlett, TX and Marsha Coke of Grand Prairie, TX, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2022 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261. Family and friends may visit Friday from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
