I met Armando when I was 15 years old, 22 years ago. Since then, he became such a special male figure in my life. He welcomed me into the Villagomez family with warm hugs and smiles. His smile gave so much peace and comfort to anyone in sight of it. One of the things I loved most about visiting my best friend’s house was always seeing her dad because of the way Armando would always make me feel like I was family. He never judged anyone and always had loving words and advice. His love for his children and wife is exemplary of eternal love. The pride in his eyes whenever he talked about his children filled a room. His love was shared by all, including his grand pups and granddaughter. God blessed us all with having him in our lives. I will forever cherish all the memories I have with him. From our talks to his laugh, Armando will forever be remembered and missed because he was truly the sweetest man on this planet.

Armando was a long-standing and dedicated member of the Oakton community, and he will be missed. His contributions to the college will not be forgotten. His warm spirit and helpful nature will be a lasting legacy. 

To the family, thank you for sharing him with us, and my sincerest condolences.

Familia Villagomez, lamentó su pérdida y comparto su dolor. Les deseo mucha fortaleza y consuelo. Son una gran familia y agradezco a Dios el haber podido coincidir  con ustedes y con el señor Armando en el mismo tiempo.  Les mando todo mi cariño en este momento tan difícil. Un abrazo muy fuerte para cada uno de ustedes.

Armando was such a great part of the Oakton College community. We were lucky to have him, his smile, and his gentle spirit.

Mi tio was always smiling and always enjoyed life. He always tried to make the best out of life.  My heart is at peace because I was able to tell you how much I love you and how much you mean to me. Thank you for always loving me, for always making me smile, and for being one of the best uncles I could have!! Thank you for learning how to comb my hair when my mom was out of commission. My childhood was better because you were in it.

Armando was so proud of his family and would light up
when asked how they were doing.  He will truly be missed
by his Oakton family.  My deepest sympathy to his family.

I worked with Armando for nearly 30 years.  Always had a smile and nice things to say.  We will miss you.

Il y a près de 10 ans j’ai eu la chance d’être accueilli sous votre toit, et de vous rencontrer. J’ai rejoins, dans un sens, votre famille et vous la mienne. J’ai le cœur lourd de cette triste nouvelle. Je veux vous envoyer toute ma force et le courage pour cette terrible épreuve. My sincere condolences.  I always enjoyed seeing Armando's friendly face! It was always nice hearing him listening to his music down the halls of Oakton.
