To Flo's Family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mother. I just found out today, my oldest daughter was getting ready to send her a birthday card and checked before she sent it.  She called me immediately to let me know.  I was shocked.  We had known she was ill for a long time which is the only reason my daughter checked. We had no way of knowing that she passed.  Flo was one of the most special people I knew with such a huge heart.  Admittedly I did not know her well but there was a chemistry between she and I that was undeniable. We could talk with each other as though we were friends all of our lives.  She had that special quality and gift.  Particularly odd we got along so well due to the curcumstance of our relationship.  How could anyone not like Flo?  She was a remarkable human being who didn't deserve to suffer as she must have.  I know she will remain in your hearts forever as she will in mine. I will never forget her nor how kind she was to my daughters when their Father (Chuck) passed away.  I could never thank her enough for that.  God rest her soul. She was very lucky to have such wonderful children that cared so much for her.  She surely deserved it.  Just wish I could pick up the phone and talk to her right now. Most of my childhood memories involve Chuck and Flo.  They were like grandparents to me.  Living downstairs always brought so much fun to the table, as I had the convenience of visiting with them as often as I'd like. I remember water fights and late nights in the backyard.  I'm glad that I got to spend so much time with the both of them.  Chuck spoiled me, rena, and Jason like we were his own kids.  They will never be forgotten.  They are now together again.  I love you Gram Flo.

The best thing my dad ever did was to marry your mother! When I told her that and she said that I was like a daughter to her was really a special moment that I will never forget! Thank you Kathy, Annie, Johnny and Rob for making me feel so comfortable like I belonged in those last days when I was saying good-bye! May God help comfort you while he is letting your mom into his house to dance and have cake fights with my dad! Love you all!!

I thought of your mother today, but that is nothing new. I thought of her yesterday, and will tomorrow too.

And I also think of you as well, even though you make no outward show. For what it means to lose a mother, it is something I will also know.

Remembering your mother will be easy, she was such a special joy each day. But I will remember your heartache as well, which I know will never go away.
