Frederick D. Oaddams

Beloved husband of 34 years to Trueannie Oaddams; loving father of Leon Williams, Rosemary Rowell, Shirley Oaddams and the late Dr. Robert L. Scott, the late Frederick Oaddams Jr., the late Doug Oaddams and the late Truesillia Williams ; cherished grandfather and great grandfather to many. Frederick’s memory will be cherished by many other relatives, extended family and friends. His will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Frederick was a devout member of the New House of Prayer Church for most of his life. He became acclimated via his best friend the late Rev. Lincoln Scott and the presiding Elder Marshall. Frederick was ascended head deacon and inaugurated as a minster.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation and funeral for Frederick that will be held on Friday, February 16th, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. at Greater Holy Temple Church of God In Christ, 246 North California Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.
