The best Mom anyone could have had.  God blessed me with Jean as my Mother and God Mother.  She cared for me as one of her own because I was one of her own.  She was always proud of me regardless of whether I was brilliant or stupid.  And I was both.  I love you, Mom.

I will always remember your Mom for being a very loving and compassionate person.I also remember the hair salon at the house on Sangamon..The house was full of life and love.

Surely Jean's soul rests peacefully in heaven for she was one of the kindest,most sincere people we have had the pleasure of knowing.Jean was always there to help out and when she asked "how have you been", she meant it. We will miss her and her smile.

I'm going to miss Auntie Jeans' sweetness and smile. I always remember she knew what we were doing in our lives and was as genuine as anyone could be. Her devout being will be missed by my family and what I have and will share in the coming days. The reality is the wisdom of a great immigrant family is quickly shifting onto our generation whether we are ready or not. I know we are. We are great people with ethics, heart and love.   We are reflections of an era that Auntie Jean, Dad and their family worked hard to forge.  Now they will guard us as angels with softer voices. I'm sad we have lost their physical touch. You and I both know we haven't lost the best part of them. Their spirit will make us wiser, smarter and more purposeful. With love and heavy hearts the Atlanta Krzeczowski's send our condolences.  I tried to make it in but got bumped off the flight and the possibilities dwindled.  I even tried to fly a FedEx trip in without pay and the guy was a Chicago commuter.  I'm sorry I can't be there.

Dear Jan and Alan, Jack and Mary, Joan and Mike, Jane and Tom, Judy and Deb, 
We are sending our heartfelt condolences to you all.  Your family always meant so much to me. Your mom was my special and wonderful godmother.  I always knew she was there in my life.  The memories I have are so very special.  Your mom was one in a billion, no one in a trillion (and that is still not enough).  I remember fondly the times on Sangamon street, the beauty salon on Friday nights, the laughs, and the food..  .  Dave remembers when we bought our house in Dolton and your mom and dad came over to welcome us into the neighborhood.  Dave also fondly remembers going to GED class with your mom.  She always had a smile and a hug ready for everyone.  The world is such a sad place right now.  We will miss your mom and her smile.  You are all a special family.  My wonderful godmother smiles in each and everyone of you.  Thank you for sharing her with Dave and I.

Jean was such a kind, fun-loving person.  We are blessed to have known her.  And the photos are a wonderful glimpse into the life and spirit of Jean!  God bless you all!

I heard about your the passing of your beautiful mother Genevieve and I just wanted to tell you how deeply sorry I am. There are no words that would express how sad I am for your loss.

Jean was such a wonderful neighbor and friend. I'll never forget meeting in the hallway to "toast the New Year". Now each year, I will "toast to our Jean". My condolences to all of her family and friends.

It is a sad thing to lose a person like your Mom from this realm.  She was so warm, and energetic and wonderful, and I see that your great legs run in the family!  Thanks for posting the album so those of us not from Chicago can "see" what your home looks like.  

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as practice the time-honored rituals that we use to help us move on when we lose our mothers.  It is a life passage.

We have many wonderful memories of fun family times spent with Jean!  So many laughs ( and tears), and some really great meals! From the very beginning, she always treated ALL of us like one of her very own. Although we lost touch over the years, please know how much we loved you Jean!
