It is with profound sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Imelda Guadalupe Saldivar-Cruz, age 43, of Oak Lawn, Illinois, who departed on March 1, 2025. Imelda will be remembered by her loving fiancé, Miguel A. Cruz; her devoted sons Jayden Alexander Cruz and Michael Anthony Cruz; Adoring parents Maria Imelda and Angel Mario Saldivar; her cherished sisters Diana (Brian) Lamphere and Adriana (Joe) Zager. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. She touched the lives of many through her warmth and generosity, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
A visitation will take place on Sunday, March 9th from 4-8pm located at Blake Lamb Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, March 10th at 11am located at St. Gianna Parish, 10233 S Central Park Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805.
