Irene Maryann Patterson

Irene Maryann Patterson, age 83, of Watervliet, Michigan, formerly of Evergreen Park, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Irene was born January 10, 1939 in Whitewater, Wisconsin to Walter and Jane (Skinner) Reynolds. As a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Watervliet she was also active in the Alter and Rosary Society. Irene had a special place in her heart for all of God’s creatures, making sure the birds and racoons always had something to eat. She was a hard worker with a strong worth ethic, operating a home cleaning service for many residents in the area. She truly was an Angel with a heart of gold.

Survivors include her husband George whom she married December 15, 2000; children Charles E. (Jane) Winkoff, Jr., Richard W. (Joan) Winkoff, Jayne (Henry) Buckles, Cindy Elmore, James Patterson, Richard Patterson, Linda (Jim) Felbinger, Debbie (Rick) Nolte, George (Colleen) Patterson, Patrick (Lisa) Patterson, and Cindy (Jack) Bedtke. Also surviving is a brother Richard W. Reynolds, a sister Kathleen Volenec, many grandchildren, and many many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sons Michael Winkoff and Philip Patterson.

A Memorial visitation will be held Thursday April 14, 2022 from 10 AM until time of Memorial Service 12:30 PM at Blake - Lamb Funeral Home 4727 W. 103rd. St., Oak Lawn. Interment to follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Evergreen Park. For more information please call (708) 636-1193.
