James R. Cowden Jr., age 78, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022. James was a beloved school teacher for Chicago Public Schools. A visitation for James will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 9:00am to 11:00am at with a chapel service to follow at 11:00am at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 North Western Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60625. Entombment Rosehill Cemetery Mausoleum.
