John "Jack" Coyne, age 88, proud U.S. Army veteran and retired member of the Chicago Police Department, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025.
Beloved son of the late Patrick and Jane (Scanlan) Coyne. Cherished brother of David (Joan), Emmett, and the late Mary (Ray) McGovern, Thomas (Mary), Jeanne, Patrick (Oda), and Robert (Rita). Jack was a fond uncle and cousin to many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
