Nephew of the late Frank (Erma) Barattia, the late Antonio (Eugenia) Conta, the late Dominica “Minnie” Barattia, and the late Benedetta Conta of Italy. Fond uncle of Matthew, Michael, Jamie, Michael, Chrispother and Elizabeth. John was a graduate of UIC, retired from AT&T, an avid gardener, fisherman and golfer, a volunteer at St. Linus Church and a world traveler.
