Kurt T. Oswald Sr., 68, passed away on December 20, 2025. Beloved Husband of Rosemarie, nee Gallagher, for 20 loving years. Devoted Father of Jennifer (the late Thomas) Rebholz, Kurt T. (Dana) Jr.; and Step-Father of Daniel (Gina) Gallagher, Michael Gallagher, Justin Carrick, and James Carrick. Proud Grandpa of Vaughn, Gavin, Archie, and Beckett Rebholz, Anthony and Apollo, Kevin and Ethan Gallagher, Michael, Nathan, Valerie, Avery, and Liam Gallagher, and Haley Rueck. Dear Son of the late Raymond and Agnes, nee Emery. Fond Brother of Karen (Lane) Engle, Raymond (Denise), and Laurie (Greg) Kawa. Uncle and Cousin of many.
Kurt was a 50 year member of Painters Union Local 191, and respected Officer and Business Agent.
A Visitation for Kurt will take place Monday, January 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St. Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Funeral to follow on Tuesday, January 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM, proceeding to Our Lady at St. Germaine Parish, 9711 S. Kolin Ave. Oak Lawn, IL 60453, for the Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:30 AM.
