February 18, 1961 – February 28, 2026
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we share the sudden passing of Lynn Budz (Agate), who left us far too soon on February 28, 2026, at the age of 65.
Lynn was the heart and steady foundation of her family. A devoted wife to Joe Budz, a proud and loving mother to Nicole Budz and Brandon Budz (Justine), and the very best grandmother — lovingly known as “Nama” — to Emry and Grayson Budz, Lynn’s greatest joy in life was her family. Being Nama was her most treasured role, and her grandchildren were the light of her life.
She was a beloved sister to Joanne (Tony) Chasse and Phillip (Cathy) Ducato. A cherished aunt, cousin, and friend to many. To know Lynn was to feel her warmth. She had a way of lighting up every room she entered — not with noise, but with love, laughter, and a quiet strength that made everyone around her feel safe and cared for.
Lynn was the helper — the one who showed up, who stayed late, who made the call, who brought the meal, who put everyone else before herself. She was the rock so many leaned on, offering steady guidance, unwavering support, and unconditional love. Her kindness was not loud, but it was constant. Her generosity was not performative, but deeply genuine.
The world feels dimmer without her bright spirit. Though words cannot fully capture the depth of our loss, we will carry her love forward in the way we care for one another — just as she taught us.
