

Rosalind professed a love for Christ at an early age at St. Walters Catholic Church.
She was educated at St. Walters Grammar School and attended Morgan Park High School (Class of 1986). She continued her education at Kennedy King College where she received her teaching certificate.
Rosalind went on to work at Park Lawn School as a teacher with disabled adults, where she truly loved helping others. She was a very outgoing person who touched many lives in her many professions. She was at one point a security guard for several years as well as one of the best cooks at the family’s restaurant, “Super C”. She was also her dad’s sidekick at the family store, “Cadillac’s”.
She influenced the lives of many people over her short life span of 49 years. Rosalind opened her heart as well as her home to many people. She was a second mother to many of her children’s friends, nieces and nephews. Whether it was cooking a meal, providing a place to sleep, lending a listening ear or just giving you a hug, Rosalind was always there. She will be truly be missed by all near and far.
Her son Jamari and her brother Melvin preceded her in death.
On February 23, 2017, while in hospice at her home, with her loved ones by her side, Rosalind made her transition.
Rosalind leaves to cherish her memory her five children: Christopher Baucom, Brandon Baucom, Travon Baucom, Ryan Baucom and Jayla Collier; her loving parents Marvin and Margaret Baucom; four sisters: Monica (Robert) Gaddis, Michelle Baucom, Yolanda (Michael) Redmond and Letanya Baucom; one brother Julius Wesley, special friend Raymond Ellison and Evelyn Louden; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and community.
