Rose F. Scourtes

Born on a farm as the youngest of her siblings in Rib Lake, Wisconsin, Rose ended up graduating from High School with Honors. She fell in love with a hero returning from war during a Craps game. Rose and John spent over 50 years together in wedded bliss and had one daughter. She was a dedicated secretary and mother; even after a hard day’s work, she would go home and prepare a full meal for her family. Rose was an all-around incredible, headstrong and strong-spirited woman; she lived to be the last remaining child of eleven. Rose will be deeply missed by her daughter, Kathleen Hasenkamp, fur-baby, Sadie, and many other adoring family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Germaine Catholic Church 9711 S. Kolin Ave, Oak Lawn, Illinois. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM. Interment at Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum Evergreen Park, Illinois.
