Rosita Apan Cruz, 93, of Evergreen Park, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025. Born in the Phillipines, Rosita was a devoted beautician and seamstress who brought warmth and elegance to her clients and creations.
A beloved wife of the late Arsenio Cruz; loving mother to Gina and the late Lorimer; cherished grandmother to Kyle and Kamille Cruz. She was also a dear sister to Cora Parungao (and the late Jimmy), and a fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A proud member of the Club Pilipino and the Santo Nino Group of the South Side, Rosita dedicated herself to community friendship and support. She will be remembered for her artistry, her nurturing spirit, and the thoughtful kindness she showed to everyone she met.
Her memory will be held dear by her family, many friends, relatives and the lives she touched with warmth, beauty, and grace.
