Rusty was one of my best friends in High School and into our 20’s. His enthusiasm and openness was magical, charisma off the charts. Let’s see; he taught me how to ollie on a skateboard correctly in his driveway, he taught me how to play guitar along with a rock drummer but also how to feel jazz drums as a guitarist, he played Miles Davis and John Coltrane for me, we watched obscure movies every week, we formed multiple teenage boy punk bands until we finally finally hit it off and started playing shows. I mean, this is like the tip of the iceberg of our lives. He came with me on a journey where my life changed and showed me how to let the change roll off your shoulder, and to enjoy the ride.
I understand that he was an amazing Father to his son Paris, a committed- loving husband to Francesca. I wasn’t there but I can understand as he was already on his way to such an actualization when we were kids. 
All who loved him, knew him, or interacted with him are now at a loss, yet we have hope in Christ’s covenant that, instead of despair, we can look to our community assembling with love once again under his Father’s open arms.

I baby sat Rusty when he was young. So sorry to hear about his passing. May family and friends be consoled by memories.

My condolences to your family.  I am truly saddened by the news and untimely passing of Ryan Stirrat, my co worker.  He was such a cool and nice guy.  He was very smart, he knew his stuff.  When we travelled to Dallas to work on new system enhancements I could never walk with him through the airport... those long strides he took left me (5' tall) behind every time.  He will be missed by many.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.



My heartfelt condolences and prayers to Ryan's wife, son, parents, family and friends.  It was a pleasure to work with him as a subconsultant.  He was extremely knowledgeable and always willing to decipher whatever system issue was going on.  I will miss working with him tremendously.
