Susanna M Schroeder, 87, long time resident of Chicago, Illinois. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 9, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Robert H. Schroeder for over 50 years. Loving daughter of the late Pablo and Santos Ortiz. Devoted mother of Michele (Robert) Howe, Carla Murphy and Rich (Rosa). Cherished grandmother of Sean (Kristine), Paige (Lafayette) Allen, Sam (Dan), Dylan (Marina), Molly, Leann, Richie, Andy and the late Michael. Adored great-grandmother of Isla, Chelsea, Eli, Asher, Elyssa, Viviana, Joshua, Livy, Ryleigh, Dylan. Fond sister of Eddie Ortiz and the late Frank, Taco, Vince, George, Leo, Virgie, Margie, Pauline. She will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends.

A funeral mass will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 11am located at St Barnabas Catholic Church, 10134 S Longwood Dr, Chicago, IL 60643. Following with an Interment at Mount Greenwood Cemetery, 2900 W 111th St, Chicago, IL 60655.
