Uncle Tom, Another Year has passed without you, and I continue to be so lost without you in my life. Words cant even express how much I miss and still need you. Your weekly calls, visits, just hanging out together talking. So many times I still pick up the phone to call you out of habit to tell a story or ask a question. I cant even describe how much you changed my life, you were not only my "Dad" but a role model. You inspired and taught me how to be a real man in life  I miss you so much, I have your pictures above my dresser and talk to you every morning, hoping that you're there watching over. It had been another difficult year, losing Uncle D. Our family just isnt the same without you and Gma Kenny. You both kept our family close, united and feel loved. It's amazing how 1 man can make such a huge impact on so many people. Tom, I try every day to live my life as you taught me, and try to make you proud of me. I just feel so lost and lonely missing you so much. There isnt a day that goes by that I dont think of you, or a memory of us. Thank you Uncle Tom for everything, this world, our family, me are all better bc of you. I Love You so much Uncle Tom. I miss you so much. I hope I am making you proud.

I miss you so much Uncle Tom. You were my Dad, and i feel so lost without you. Ill never forget the things you taught me and life lessons i learned from just being around you and watching you. I love you and miss you so much.

Tom was a good man, He care for my parents and I loved him for that. We will miss you.

My deepest condolences to the Kenny family and his companion Kathy on the loss of Tom so unexpectedly. I knew Tom in my earlier years, but heard only good things about him from my Mom as he was always helping people out in the neighborhood. What a legacy he has left!

I light this candle for my brother Tom because he was our family's light. He showed us how to be kind, caring, do what you can for others and not expect anything in return. How to cook for an army even if you were only cooking for a few people...LOL.  If you were his friend, you were his friend for life. He was a Vietnam vet, a father, a grandfather. He loved his family and extended family. We are still in shock, but we know that he is now with Mom, Dad, Mike and our relatives and friends who have already passed. He will be missed terribly. My heart is broken

I did not lose a good friend the other day..
The man I am referring to:
Volunteered to defend our rights and country during a time of an unfavorable war as perceived by the public.  Shame on all of those who did as these people deserve our gratitude.
Was a man who had one son but yet would receive multiple calls each and every father's day.
Was a man who bake 12 dozen cookies and deliver them to 2 places he was previously employed each year during the holidays.
Was a man who bake his famous cookies for another family member to bring to work to share with fellow employees.
Was a man who would, and has, helped many friends and family members with anything that needed to be done.
Was a man who loved the outdoors, especially fishing.
Was a man who came up with a bucket list for his dog and completed it by taking his pup to Myrtle Beach one weekend so he could swim in the ocean.
Was a man who never showed up at any party empty handed.
Was a man who attend nieces and nephews sporting events to support them.
Was a man who children loved and he always made for them to pull on his mustache or make noises while they put their fingers in his mouth.
Was a man where there was no In Law, once involved with the family he was your brother.
As I said, I did not lose a good friend the other day because I learned most of this after he was gone.
I did not lose a good friend.
The world lost a very good man

Tom was a good friend since 1972 So sorry to the Kenny family. We had lot's of good times.

We are so heart broken over the death of Tommy.  It has shaken us to our core.  Uncle Tommy, as my girls called him, was a wonderful, caring and all around fantastic person.  He will be so so missed.  Rest in Peace Tommy.  We will always love you.  Bob, Debbie, Catherine and Rebecca Lunn.
