JaJa was an amazing and loving man! He was a “bonus” grandfather to my daughters. We would love to hear his stories. We will always remember his raspy, heavy breath laugh! And there were the hundreds of times his glasses would be sitting at the tip of his nose, nearly falling off. Our family will cherish all of the memories we had the chance of making with JaJa. Our deepest condolences and prayers. 

I have always loved hearing the stories about Uncle Billy from my dear Joe. My favorite memory of Uncle Billy is when he confirmed for me that there was a Madigan ancestor that survived the Titanic disaster.  We first saw Margaret Kathryn Madigan's name at the Titanic exhibit in Orlando, FL. Then again in 2017 when we visited Belfast Ireland.  Uncle Billy told Joe and I the whole story about this great-aunt and her Titanic adventure, and why she tried to persuade great grandma Madigan not to travel to the US in 1912. 
Uncle Billy rest in peace.  My prayers and hugs to all of his children and granddaughter. We look forward to celebrating his life with you in the near future. Vicki Madigan

Mr. Madigan was a very kind hearted man who touched many lives in different ways.  I will always remember how caring he was and the fact he would help anyone.  He touched my heart quite a few times when he would go with my daughters to school for grandparents day events.  He was papa Madigan to them.  May you rest in peace now Mr. Madigan.

My only grandfather; his only grandchild. He will forever be in my heart. I will never forget the times we shared together, listening to the stories he told. And how he would do anything and everything for me. I know he was proud of me and loved me unconditionally. I love you, Grandpa. 

I will always remember Great Uncle Billy as a kind soft spoken man. Who showed up to help family whenever it was needed. Sending love and strength to all who loved him. 

My dad my best friend my travel buddy forever in my heart!

When I think of Uncle Bill what comes to mind is a loving gentle kind soul.   He was soft spoken and kind to everyone. I loved seeing him at family functions driving his red truck helping Dad with what ever project needed to be done.  He was a great friend and brother to my Dad.  He will forever be in my heart. I pray he is no longer suffering in heaven dancing with his big sister Jane who he loved dearly and reunited with his parents.  You will forever be missed.  My sympathies go out to all that loved Uncle Bill.  

One of my fondest memory was when I lived with Uncle Billy and Grandma Madigan in Riverdale.
Grandma would set the table for taco night. Normal setting for me and her, but for Uncle Billy he had his hot sauces and a large hand towel.  I would watch him eat and little by little beads of sweat would appear on his forehead. The more he’ed eat the beads kept coming until they would run. He would grab the towel and wipe his forehead and keep eating. He loved it HOT. I would be in the hospital if I did that. Loved after dinner talks too.
