Aurelia Gonzalez

Born on May 20, 1939, in Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Victorio Armendariz and Tomasa Arredondo, Aurelia was the youngest of 13 siblings and the last surviving member of her family. She lived a life devoted to her loved ones, serving as a pillar of strength and a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her.

Aurelia is survived by her children, Ericka Moore, John Gonzalez, and Angelica Gomez, as well as her adoring grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Genaro Gonzalez, her beloved children Leslie and Gene Gonzalez, and all 12 of her siblings.

A funeral service in her honor will take place on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Eternal Hills Memorial Park (1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92054).

Immediately following the service, family and friends are invited to gather at the Gonzalez residence to celebrate Aurelia’s remarkable life. Directions to the location will be provided at the service. This will be a time to share memories, enjoy fellowship, and honor her enduring legacy of love and devotion.

Aurelia’s compassion, unwavering faith, and dedication to her family will forever live in the hearts of those she touched. As the youngest and last surviving member of a large and loving family, she carried their legacy forward with grace and strength. She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered.
