
Beryl Kathryn Cleary Rulon OCEANSIDE -- Beryl Kathryn Cleary Rulon, 83, passed away at her home in Oceanside, California on July 25, 2012. She was born in Denver, Colorado on November 23, 1928 to John Cleary and Hazel Mae Brant Cleary. She married the late John Harold Rulon in 1950. Beryl was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was an active member of the Catholic Church, the Legion of Mary and in her later years a fervent student of the Bible. Much of her life was spent helping others: from volunteering at nursing homes and helping improve the lives of people with cognitive disabilities to taking friends and family members into her home when they were in need. She is survived by her children Kathy, John, Jim, Mary, Bob, Paul, Tom and Jeni Rulon, and Carol Smith, Theresa Butler and, Chrissy Renfro. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Indeed, with a husband and eleven children, most of Beryl's life was spent serving others. Funeral services will be held in Ft. Collins, Colorado at St. Joseph's Church on August 23, 2012 at 9:30 am. Visitation (closed casket) at Rest Haven from 4 - 7 pm and a Rosary recited at 6 pm. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Sea, Oceanside, California on Monday, August 13 at 1:30 pm.
