

CARLSBAD, Cindy Jean Brown (Alvo) passed away February 23, 2012. Born on January 18, 1958, she grew up in La Habra, CA, graduating from Sonora High School. After marrying in 1979 she moved to San Diego area and resided in Carlsbad for the past 26 years.
She was passionate about music from rock and soul to contemporary music, and regularly attended concerts. Cindy was also an avid animal lover, particularly dogs, having adopted her current dog, Dusty from the Cairn Terrier rescue network. After a few years in the printing business in Orange Country, then raising her children, she returned to work part-time in administrative positions for various law firms.
She was preceded in death by her Father Aaron (Al) Alvo. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Randy Brown, daughter and son Alicia Licht and Aaron Brown, son-in-law Bryan Licht, and daughter-in-law Bethany Bentley; Mother and Step-Father Sue and John Neidhardt of Yakima, WA; Sister Cheryl Powell of Grand Junction, CO and her beloved dog Dusty
Visitation is scheduled Wednesday, Febraury 29th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and memorial service is Thursday, March 1 at 1:00pm at Eternal Hills, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92054

Arrangements are under the direction of Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Mortuary, and Crematory, Oceanside, California.
