Consuelo Letourneau OCEANSIDE -- Consuelo Letourneau, 87, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 18, 2015. Born October 8th, 1927 in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico, she called Oceanside her home for nearly 40 years. She was a homemaker, local business owner and member of St. Margaret’s Church in Oceanside. She also was a longtime member of the Alhambra's, a Catholic charity, and Las Ramada’s R.V. Motor Home Camping Club. Connie, as her family knew her, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, in addition to having been such an active member of the community.
Consuelo was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Letourneau; and is survived by her five children and their three spouses: daughters, Liza Vander Veen and husband, Jock McPhee, Margie Rye and husband, Greg, Patricia Brewster, Jeanette Curtright and husband, Ross, and son Stephen Letourneau; and her grandchildren: Vanessa, Rosie, Amber and her son Jakob, Vincent, his wife Caroline and their daughter Caitlin. Visitation and Rosary will be held from 4-8pm on Monday, July 27th at Eternal Hills Mortuary, Oceanside, CA. A Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, July 28th at St. Margaret's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
