

David was born in Buena Park, California on January 26, 1966. Dave was one of three children born to Joe and Doris Robidoux. After being mentored by his father for many years, he started his own business, West Coast Equipment, LLC. Dave would spend the next 35 years providing repair, rentals and sales of heavy equipment. Throughout his career he was admired for his strong business ethics, warm personality and outstanding customer service. Dave was known for being an exemplary problem solver who developed a drywall attachment for construction equipment that continues to impact the industry.
As Dave was building his company, he was committed to raising his children. They took many trips including to their favorite destination of Lake Havasu. Here, his love for boats and boating began. Dave loved cooking and barbequing for his family and friends. Blueberry muffins on Sunday was a family tradition for his children.
After several years together Lynn and Dave were married and celebrated with their families in Hawaii. Dave embraced Lynn’s family as his own, often travelling to Tennessee for family gatherings. Lynn, the love of his life enhanced his adventurous spirit with many trips throughout the states and abroad. A large part of Dave’s life was devoted to his furbaby, Jesse aka “sir barks a lot”.
David is survived by his wife Lynn; his children, Alisa (Shawn), Steve, Nick and Nicole; his stepsons Jay (Sophie); Matt (Amanda); three grandchildren, Micah, Mason, Maryann; his brother John (Jennifer) and his mother Doris.
Dave’s celebration of life will be held for family and close friends at Eternity Hills Memorial Park, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, California on January 17, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
