Born in Los Angles CA, Dewey was the younger of two children. Dewey and his sister were born to Ester E Riopel and Dewey C Riopel Sr. Dewey had a career as a printing press operator at NCR for 15+ years and later retired and enjoyed gardening.
Dewey married Doris Lanore Hornbaker in 1946 and had 4 children and divorced in 1971. He remarried Myra B. Riopel in 1978 until she passed away in 2007. Retired and widowed Dewey survived by his three daughters, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A graveside and burial service will be held July 25 2019 @ 12:00 noon Westminister Memorial Park, 14801 Westminister Blvd, Westminister CA 92683
