Dear Dieter, 
Thank you for your memorable friendship. I always remember 1969. Armin and I went to Milwaukee, WI where we met you for a wonderful day. You showed Armin how to do water skiing. This day is still in our mind (but I never tried it again).  This was the beginning of a valuable friendship. 
We will miss you!

I will never forget my uncle Dieter, my uncle from America. It was always an event, when he came over to (East) Germany and visit us here. The most exciting and rememberable visit for me was in 1988 (I think) as he came for XMAS as Santa Clause. My little sister was shocked to see Santa Clause and hide away under the table and Rex as “Silent-Wichtel”. 
The other nice moment was as he picked me up at L.A. International, for my first visit in the States and he came with this fast car (Mitsubishi GT3000), but no real space for my suitcase. That was quite funny and it was just the beginning of an impressing 4 weeks stay.

Dear Kreissig family,
Our hearts go out to the entire family.
Laguna Beach has not been the same since your family moved to Oceanside.
Dieter was a great friend and great contractor.  He did lots of upgrading for us. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole Kreissig family. May God bless each and every member and sustain you at this very sad and difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Kreissig family. Dieter is an amazing person and I am lucky to have ever met a kind hearted soul such as his. He will be greatly missed.

I will miss that wonderful smile, jokes and those long talks we would have at night when you couldn't sleep in the 'big house'.  You will be missed by many.

Dear Kreissig Family - Our hearts go out to you on the death of Dieter.  Although we never had the pleasure of meeting Dieter, the love and kindness he extended to Brendan speaks volumes of his character....he was a wonderful Opa!  May your memories and togetherness bring you strength and comfort.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.
