

Erasmo Ramirez Blanco passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 84 at his home. His family is deeply saddened by his loss. Erasmo was born on August 21, 1940, in Mexico, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Erasmo is survived by his devoted wife, Alice, with whom he shared 58 wonderful years of marriage. He is also remembered with love by his children, Patricia, Paul, Alice, Erasmo Jr., and Luis, as well as his 11 cherished grandchildren: Victoria, Isaias Jr., Anthony, Ariel, Kirsten, Alina, Julia, Brendan, Arianna, Luis Jr., and Diego. His 7 great-grandchildren as well as his surviving siblings, Emma, Lili, and Hector. His legacy will continue to live on through his nieces, nephews, and extended family, both near and far.
Erasmo was predeceased by his father, Manuel, his mother, Maria Dolores, and his brothers, Victor and Enrique.
Born and raised in Cuauhtémoc, Mexico, Erasmo later moved to California, where he met the love of his life, Alice. One of his greatest joys was taking his family to Mexico, where they created countless memories together while visiting his mother, brothers, and sisters.
Erasmo had a great passion for fishing, which he enjoyed until rising costs made it difficult. He also loved watching boxing, never missing a fight, and in his later years, he found enjoyment in trips to the casino. He often went with Alice, and on occasion, his grandchildren would join him. One of his most memorable trips was for his 50th wedding anniversary, which he celebrated in Las Vegas surrounded by his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren.
A dedicated worker, Erasmo retired as a skilled cement mason from the Labor Union. Even after retiring, he remained tirelessly active, always working on his home or lending a helping hand to family members in need. He was generous with his knowledge, eager to teach others the techniques he had perfected over the years. Erasmo was known for his strong work ethic, often working long hours with little rest until the job was complete.
One of his proudest accomplishments was earning his U.S. citizenship, driven by his deep desire to give his family a better life. Erasmo’s life serves as a testament to his determination, his commitment to hard work, and his unwavering love for his family.
Though there are no words that can fully express how deeply Erasmo will be missed, his family takes comfort in knowing that he is finally home, in a place he had longed to be. His legacy will forever remind us that we control our destiny and that a life filled with hard work, love, and service, as Christ exemplified, is a life well-lived.
Rest in peace, Erasmo a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. You will always be in our hearts.
