

Lee was born on May 13, 1968 in American Samoa. His family moved to Hawaii and then to California in 1981, where he met and married his best friend and soulmate, Nicole. They married on September 9, 1995 and made their home in Oceanside, CA.
An accomplished accountant and controller, Lee received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Lee prided himself in his education and was a strong advocate and mentor for his children and their friends, reminding them to stay on their path to success, remain strong and focused, and believe that anything is possible when you follow your dreams. His belief in his family knew no bounds and he encouraged them to strive for the highest goals in whatever they did.
He was a father to several and a best friend to many. Lee loved coaching volleyball, specifically sharing his skills and knowledge of the sport with youth teams. Lee’s spirit was bright and kind. He was the light of everyone’s lives. He had a fun sense of humor that entertained whomever he was with, and his laughter and pure happiness impacted so many. Family time was most important above all else and his love for them, along with his extended family and friends is eternal and unmatched.
He was preceded in death by his father Iupeli Amiatu on February 3, 2008.
Lee is survived by his loving wife Nicole, beloved son Blake, devoted daughter Sydney and the best dog Rambo; His siblings: Meafou Amiatu Saifoloi, Fololeni Uimoto Jerome, Maloa Matt Jerome, Filifili Amiatu, Tauipetipeti Amiatu Fanua and Mother Fololeni Amiatu; As well as a host of loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime friends.
His generous, loving, kind spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside CA.
Viewing and visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. Chapel Services begin promptly at 3PM with a light reception immediately following.
