Jade was preceded in death by her maternal great-great-grandparents, Dr. Vicente and Perla Ong of the Philippines; paternal grandparents, Pedro Garcia, Salvacion Garcia, and Procopio Mancilla.
Remaining to cherish and keep Jade’s memory alive are her parents, Raymarco Garcia of San Diego, CA and Jeraldine Ong of Oceanside, CA; her sister, Jazleen Raine Ong of Oceanside, CA; maternal and paternal grandparents; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jade went to MLK Middle School in Oceanside, CA.
Jade loved dancing, swimming, the beach and water parks, reading books, playing computer games, watching YouTube videos and scary movies, shopping (at Daiso and 5 Below), girly stuff - skin care, make-up, nails, and singing Frozen’s “Let It Go” and Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso at the top of her lungs. She loved roller coasters/rides and even as a toddler would cry when she wasn’t tall enough to ride. She loved visiting the pet store and just looking at the puppies.
Jade was very artistic and loved to draw. She loved playing Uno, but hated losing.
Jade loved her pink drink with 2 pumps of vanilla syrup and vanilla cold foam from Starbucks. As much as she loved Korean bbqs, sushi (salmon and avocado rolls), spam musubi, McDonald’s, and sweets, she enjoyed helping her mom cook.
Jade’s biggest idol was her older sister, Jazzie.
