To Aunt Josephine, Nancy, Carol and Patty.
     The news of the death of my mother's last living sibling came with an overwhelming sense of grief and loss. I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Jimmy. Each year I looked forward to reading the note in his Christmas card. It is truly a privilege to be one of his nieces.
    My husband and I send our deepest sympathy to his family.

So sorry about "Jimmy" as we knew him in Ocean Mission III.  We will miss him a lot with his friendliness, co-operation and a good fitness example walking everyday.

May God continue to look over your shoulders and give you courage during this difficult time.

Dear Aunt Jo, Nancy, Carol and Patty,
  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  A great sadness fell over me when hearing that Uncle Jim had died.  He was the last of the great Carrano siblings.  I have wonderful memories of all the Sunday gatherings of my mother and her five brothers.Mom's great regret was that she was not healthy enough to make the trip to CA to see her beloved brother.

I will always remember his stories of the Native Americans in his infantry; how he made friends with the big chiefs for protection since he was a little guy. His stories were always about courage and commitment. I'm grateful I know him during this lifetime. I love you grandpa.

I have many happy memories of chatting with Mr. Carrano. A great guy, always a smile and a kind word. May your memories bring you a smile.
