Jorge Alberto Cortez was born on June 26, 1982, in Fallbrook, California, to Roberto H. Cortez and Maria Elena Cortez.
Jorge was a pre-school teacher for seventeen years, and was loved by many of the children he taught.
Jorge passed away on January 5, 2021, in Oceanside, California. He is survived by his parents, Roberto and Maria Elena Cortez; his brother Luis Cortez; his sister, Patricia Cortez; and his two loving nephews, Tlaloc Iniguez-Cortez and Mateo Iniguez-Cortez.
