He was preceded in death by his father, Benigno Román, and mother, Maria Román.
Jose is survived by his wife, Antonia Román, daughters, Blanca Román, Alma Román, Sandra Cueva, and Miraida Román, family, relatives, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 4pm~8pm with a vigil/rosary at 7pm at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel in Oceanside, California.
A Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 1pm at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Vista, California.
Mr. Román's final resting place will be Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside, California.
