

Many things can be said about Mrs. Juanita Espinoza. She meant so much to so many people. Her family, friends, and acquaintances knew her as a friendly, empathic, loving, caring woman. She was warmhearted, gentle, and kind with all the people she encountered.
Juanita was a woman of faith; she loved Jesus Christ and had great faith in la Virgin de Guadalupe and El Santo niño de Atocha. She attended St. John Catholic Church, Encinitas, CA and St. Mary’s star of the Sea, Oceanside, CA.
Juanita was born on March 16, 1933, in Purepero, Michoacán, Mexico. In 1948, she moved to Tijuana, Baja California with her parents and 5 siblings. Later that year, she met Alfonso Espinoza. Juanita and Alfonso were married in 1950, in Tijuana, Mexico. In 1959, Juanita along with four of their children migrated to the United States to reunite with Alfonso in Encinitas, California. Juanita and Alfonso had a model relationship, and they were so happy together, you could feel the love they had for one another until this day, which will never end.
Juanita had a total of seven children: Manuel, Jose Luis, Maria Elena, Ana Maria, Alfonso Jr., Miguel, and Juanita Inez. She had twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Juanita had a great work ethic; she worked for 33 years at Paul Ecke Ranch in Encinitas, California. After her retirement, she became a homemaker. Juanita loved to spend time with her family, loved to cook for grandchildren, and loved to travel with her husband Alfonso. They often traveled to back to her hometown Purepero, Michoacán and to Tijuana, Mexico.
On November 17, 1995, Juanita became a citizen of the United States of America. Juanita was a resident of Encinitas, California for 58 years.
Surviving siblings: Emilia Solorio-Meraz of Vista, Ca, Esperanza Solorio-Meraz of Encinitas, Ca, and Ramiro Solorio of San Marcos Ca.
Her predeceased loved ones included: parents Celestino and Anita Solorio, brothers Antonio Solorio and Ignacio Solorio, and Son Manuel Espinoza.
We have all lost a special person, but she has left a legacy and instilled her values, morals, and beliefs in her children and grandchildren that will stay with us forever. Juanita is greatly loved and missed.
