Hi Daddy,
  What can or how can one person say with a heart full of I love you's and miss you's put into words.  I think of you everyday.  I guess me being here on this island with the thought of hoping you will pop up one of these days to say hi.  I know your back and forth watching over us.  But the thing is dad, the honest truth daddy, "Is that you are everywhere I go".  To work, to the store, to run errands, i see a part of you everywhere I go.  Everyone on this island let alone your family say to me, "We miss him just as much as you miss him Tanya".  They might have not been there for your service and burial, but they were there with us spiritually and in our hearts.  Everyday someone new comes into my store and there i go again talking about you.  My cousins Salofi, Renee, and Faauuga come by to say hi and hang out.  I wanna go over to hang out with them, but that is a lot harder on me then anything else.  I guess it's the thought of them expecting to see me because of you, or expecting to see you.  From your family in Manu'a to Tutuila.  Everywhere I go, everyone I talk to, is about you.  I find myself lost in another world looking for you.  And everytime I call to check on Mom and everyone else im expecting to talk to you.  People who were there to help out for your funeral services ask me if I had seen them, i find myself saying no I didn't see them.  But they say they understand, they were once there too, and say it will take time, its worst than a heartbreak.  Just wanted to say thank you for your love and your support and most importantly for holding on to see Matthew.  I know a few years from now, he will appreciate the fact of being in your arms before parted from us.  The kids are looking forward to seeing you next year. I love you Daddy and we will see you next year.

Daddy, I still find it hard to believe I will never see you pushing your walker in our hallway and hearing your voice say, "Vasa, Sina, tatou o e ti'eti'e". I miss you every single moment of my life right now especially when I need to speak to you or tell you the latest "CNN" that I know. Then, you would look at me and say, "Vasa, ua leva ona 'ou iloa...matua e behind tele!" and you would laugh at me. I thank God for you. I thank God that you were chosen to be my father. My proudest moment of you is when you took the notion to go to college and graduated at 50yrs old! Now that I am a grandmother of four, I understand your purpose and I will cherish your memory forever because everything you ever did was because you loved me and my brothers and sisters. In your last epitaph, you bid us farewell in the best way any man can ever do! God certainly blessed you in a very special way to allow you to write your own "final" farewell to your family and especially to our Mother. You will always be the right voice I hear when I wonder if I am doing the right thing or not! You will always be the voice that tells me to "go the extra mile" and when I do, I will miss you sayingThank you for the encouragement Daddy, thank you for making me stronger and making me feel important and valuable to you. 
I bring a verse from Psalm 23...The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want...YES, THIS IS MY TESTAMENT, THE TREASURE AND RICHES OF THIS WORLD MEANS NOTHING UNLESS IT IS BORN OF GOD. I am so broken hearted to know you will never be sleeping in the room across the hallway from me, but I am comforted knowing you are with Jesus and no longer in pain. You left behind a family that wants to love more and more each day and we all thank you for that teaching.
MY DADDY MAY NOT HAVE HAD ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD, BUT I AM THE RICHEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD TODAY WITH THE LOVE HE BESTOWED ON ME! REST IN PEACE AND THANK YOU DADDY

To my uncle, thank you for being there for my Dad through his life for I know you were a 2nd father to him, thank you for being in our lives as well.  Uncle thank you, we love you for we know your in good hands Rest In Love!  To my uncles children and grandkids I found such comfort & solace in this poem by an Unknown Author that I want to share with you that I know this is what he would be whispering in your ears or in your dreams.

A man of great honor and achievements, Papa Leasau's death was just another hard blow to my heart. Though I've never really got know you myself, from who i am and and as a part of where i come from, I am rest assured that you were an amazing man in your own right!! I only wish you could be here so that we could have spent more time with eachother. Know that you'll always have a place in my heart, and that I will cherish every moment I had spent with you and Mama Meresaini. I pray that you'll watch over our family, friends and I as we continue into pursuing and achieving our goals in life, while at the same time bringing you great fortune to your name. I will not bid you farewell Papa, but simply a "see you later", for one day we will all be reunited once again. Until then, we will always keep you in our thoughts and prayers. WE LOVE YOU!!
