

Linda Diana Perdue was born on August 6, 1947, in The Bronx New York and began her eternal rest on April 2, 2026. Linda is preceded in death by her Father Marvin Manzell Perdue, brother Ronald Perdue and her husband Rev. Robert Patterson. She is survived by her Mother Constance Josephine Perdue, her stepmother Carmen Perdue and her sister Deborah Dukes.
After working for the Pacific Telephone Company as an IT Analyst for over 33 years she retired in 1998. Linda lived in Oceanside in the 1970’s and moved to Vista California in 1985.
Linda Patterson met her Husband Rev. Robert Patterson while attending Walker Chapel A.M.E Church. They were married for over 35 years and have two wonderful Children: Shawn W. Patterson and Fanon R. Patterson. Linda always supported and encouraged her children’s academic and athletic pursuits.
Linda was a member of Walker Chapel AME Church. She was a faithful and dedicated member/secretary. Linda was on the Usher Board for over twenty years, as well as a member of the Walker Chapel Birdie Jones Women’s Missionary Society. She was also a member of Brother Bueno’s in Oceanside – these just to name a few of her accomplishments. Linda enjoyed gardening, sending cards for birthdays and special occasions and spending time with her family.
Linda has gone home, resting comfortably and peacefully with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We love and miss her dearly. Her memory and spirit are cherished.
Linda is survived by her sons: Shawn and her daughter-in-law Francine, Fanon and partner Rene, stepsons Robert Jr. Floyd and Rev. Andre’ E. Patterson, her sister Deborah Dukes as well as a host of cousins and friends.
Linda is and will continue to be well and fondly remembered for the special relationships she shared with family and friends.
