It's been over a year, and even thou I go every week to visit you at your resting place I still have a hard time realizing you are not there to talk with me. The other day I went to grab the phone to call you. Mom you were the best, I try to call Jim to make sure he is okay. But I will always watch out for him for you. I know you loved him so much, and now I realize how much he loved you.  The girls are getting so big, they go with me sometimes to put flowers on you of course you know that. Please give Gilberto and kiss and hug for me!!  RIP my beautiful mom  Till we meet again  Love Lolie

It has been a month since you left us. We all miss and talk about the good times we had with you. I want to thank you for being a wonderful mama! I always remember how hard you worked to make sure we had everything (even thou Lennie always got the new clothes) but I so appreciated those hamburgers when we went to the beach where you worked at the Fire Pitt.  I have so many memories and you always showed us how much you loved us.  You always told me how proud you were of me, and I would tell you I got that from you to work hard to get what you wanted.  You loved your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and all your brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews.  You just loved family and you know they loved you too!!!  Until we meet again, please give Gilberto a kiss for me I miss you both so much. You know Gilberto always loved you and now you two are together. Love x0x0x0  Lolie

My sister Margie lives on in all of us. When I put on my red lipstick I always smile an think of her. We use to run from her so she wouldn't kiss us. How I wish I could get one more of those kisses. I know heaven is filled with her love an kiss marks on everyone's cheeks. You will forever be in my heart an red lipstick on my lips

I have never known anyone more resilient than you! Some people are fighters, but you were a warrior! You overcame so many hardships in your life, especially the last part of it.  Despite this, you managed to keep your sense of humor and still put smiles on our faces. I will always remember our fun times together. I loved our weekends we spent together when I was a little girl. You would spoil me the whole weekend.  I have so many fond memories, from watching you get your hair dyed jet black to letting me dye your hair pink when you finally let your hair go grey.  I will also remember our Mondays out together…whether it was a movie or a restaurant…we always had a good time. You were there for all the special events in my life…from my birthday parties, graduations, and wedding to being in the delivery room when Nadia was born. I am grateful that you were a part of  mine and my daughters' lives and we will always remember how much love you shared with each of us. Although I miss you dearly, I know that you are in a better place with loved ones. I am sure you are up there walking, cooking, eating all the foods you missed out on, and trying to find a phone to call and tell us you are ok. Tell my dad we love him and try not to talk his ears off ?. I will talk to you in my prayers and dreams.

Our sister Margie, jet black hair, red red lipstick, in the kitchen, apron on, spatula in hand, a big loving smile, making breakfast for family & friends. In later years, silver white hair, pale natural lips, wearing a pretty nightgown, remote control in hand, a big loving smile, chocolate secretly hiding in the side pocket of her recliner. Our Margie, beautiful inside & out, loving, forgiving, always a smile, always a sense of humor. We cherish the memories we have of her, she'll forever be in our hearts.  

When God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, he put his arms around you and whispered come to me. He didn't like what you went through and he gave you rest. His garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best, and when we saw you sleeping so peaceful and free from pain, we wouldn't wish you back to suffer that again. Today we say goodbye and as you take your final rest, that garden must be beautiful because you are one of the best. xoxo

Kathy and I just spent the weekend celebrating our sister Marge's life. While it was a memorial to her it was an example of family and friends being brought together for strength and love. The weekend was full of the love of family that Marge taught us. She will be more then missed by us, she will be guiding us forever.

Mama, I know we have told you many times that you were the most loving mom anyone could ever have. You always made us feel special and loved.  You have left me with beautiful memories to cherish.  I never could reach you in bed to give you a kiss, but now I just have to blow a kiss to heaven and I know it will reach you.  I love you mom and already miss you but you are at peace now. You are going to be so missed, but to see you laying there in peace gives me comfort. No more pain, having to just lay in bed. You are free to fly with the angels. Thanks for always being there for me and for me.  There are no words to describe how much I love you, and proud that you were my mother.  You were such a tough cookie, I called you my every ready battery, but this time the battery just ran out.  Gilberto is there for you, you are not alone. I look up into the sky and I see you two holding hands and looking down on me.  May you RIP, mama.  Love you forever!!!!!
